The HP Indigo WS4050 was installed over 18 months ago due to a demand in the market for short run, full colour labels with exceptional quality for low cost.  Key to the solution is the new HP Indigo press ws4050, which prints full-color variable labels on demand and features an expanded media capacity that allows the labeling market to harness the full potential of digital technology for our customers.

Designed for greater cost-efficiency, productivity and ease-of-use, the HP Indigo press ws4050 improves on its predecessor, the HP Indigo press ws4000, by enabling us to produce a wider range of label applications - from adhesive to shrink-sleeve - further establishing Commercial Label products as a leader in the commercial printing market. We witnessed the potential of the machine at Labelexpo 2006 and realised that it would alow us to expand the company in many different areas.

The HP Indigo press ws4050 digitally prints on a wider than ever range of media types and sizes, including conductive and shrink-sleeve film. Other advantages include a new ink-set for finer imaging, a reinsertion capability that enables duplex imaging for two-sided prime labels, and solutions that support essential FDA-compliant validation for pharmaceutical labels.

Our continued commitment to the digital label industry has lead us to explore other options to expand our digital printers.
